Corn gluten meal creates a by-product called peptides that stops weeds such as dandelions and crabgrass. Use this product twice a year, in spring and fall, to help nourish a thick green lawn.
Application rate: 10 to 20 lbs per 1,000 square feet of lawn, garden or flowerbed.
We do not recommend trying using this product within 60 days of planting grass seed. Corn gluten meal kills seeds (and that is why it is such an effective weed killer.
